Curb appeal

Now that the painting, plumbing and electrical work are nearing completion, it is time to turn our attention to the exterior. John and I have gone around and around about what to do with the front entrance. Do we add a pergola? What about the entry door; how do we make it welcoming? What should we do with the landscaping? I think we have come up with a plan that will complement the design of the home.

This afternoon we walked through the back yard, looking to see what work needs to be done. Even though the house and grounds have been maintained over the past eight years while it was unoccupied, the yard is in need of TLC. There will be lots of pruning and weed pulling going on.
