Underway

After taking some time to regroup since the sale of our last project, we are now beginning work on the Cooper Young Cottage. It is a tiny place, just over 800 square feet, so it is extremely important that we use every bit of space well. John has found a way to add off-street parking, and we plan to make a small outdoor courtyard just outside the kitchen. The kitchen itself will be all new, and other improvements will include building in closet space in the bedrooms, and totally reworking the bathroom.

Demolition is mostly complete, and the EBOX dumpster was delivered for us to use in the disposal of construction debris. This company takes co-mingled waste, separates it, and recycles all the materials it can--reducing the debris that goes to our landfills.

So, here we go again!
